#607 an ordinary day

Today was pretty ordinary. I went to work. Our new company-wide software went live today, so that was fun. I think everything mostly went ok. Now we are trying to close out 2011 on the old software and handling new business on the new software. Should be an interesting week.

After work I had to go to the grocery store, then I came home just in time to see MT and T leave to collect the rent. While they were gone, I put away the groceries, threw in a load of laundry and divided up the meat I'd bought at Costco into manageable three-people packages. Then I made a quick dinner. We just had shrimp and some pasta. Nothing too fancy, but it was quick, easy and tasty. Throughout dinner and the ensuing clean-up, we watched the Jazz game on TV. Yes, we even watch them on TV!

Tonight I helped T set up his new iPod Touch. He is happily downloading music right now, even though he should be going to bed. I can't blame him for being excited. It's a pretty cool little piece of electronics!

Speaking of electronics, here's T with his phone. I'm not sure what technology he'll play with more because he can text on the iPod.
