I am happy to report that T received his second dose of the Pfizer vaccine today. It is a huge relief to me to know that he has had both shots. Two weeks until full immunization for him. YAY!
It is Memorial Day weekend, the unofficial start of summer. My work shut down early this afternoon so we could get a jump start on the weekend. MT and I drank a couple of beers out on the deck, chatted, and watched the dogs play. Our newest Bark Box was delivered today and the girls really, really enjoyed the toys this month. One of the toys, a ball dressed up as an orange, is already destroyed. I don’t mind because they had so much fun tearing it apart.
We are planning on staying close to home this weekend. Tomorrow, MT will work on the rental property he is currently renovating, T will work, and I will go look for blooms at Red Butte Garden. The Jazz play game 3 of their series with Memphis tomorrow night, so we’ll watch that. On Sunday, MT plans to work on our sprinkler system. T and I want to go see A Quiet Place Part II. On Monday, MT will be back at the property. T and I don’t have any plans for Monday. That night, the three of us are planning to go to a local sports bar for dinner and to watch game 4. In between all that, there will be dog park, dog walking, reading, writing, and other stuff. I made a list of things that I’d like to do and/or need to do. We’ll see how it goes. I have lots of books I want to read!
