Josh Groban countdown!

I'm preparing for my next musical adventure with LA.

She called me on Wednesday afternoon, feeling post-concert love for Josh Groban, whom she had seen on Tuesday night in Boise. "He's so amazing," she gushed. "I was in a trance! I swear there were times when the whole audience was holding it's breath!" I was smiling at her rapture. This girl is a head-banger, and she was loving almost-opera boy? "My friend is so lucky," she continued. "She is going to see him again in Salt Lake next week." I asked her if she wanted to see Josh in Salt Lake. "I think I can get tickets. Do you want me to check?" I asked her. The company I work for has a suite at the Energy Solutions Arena. We can often get tickets to concerts through work, so I called my friend who handles stuff like that. She said we could get tickets. I told LA and she squealed, yes squealed, so we got the tickets. As an extra-added bonus, I was actually given the tickets by my boss. (That made me squeal. I really feel lucky and grateful for this!)

So I'm going to see Josh Groban on Tuesday night with LA. I knew exactly one song of his, "You Raise Me Up." Last night I jumped on iTunes and downloaded iTunes Essential Josh Groban for a little taste of what I'd be hearing on Tuesday. He does have a nice voice. It's not what I usually listen to, but a chance to hang out with my friend and listen to music is too great to pass up! Will I fall in love with Josh too?
