lazy bag of trash

Downer post...beware!

I've been a lazy bag of trash today. It was raining and cold, so there was no soccer game for T. Instead we went to the library and to the store to get a Halloween costume. Harry Potter again. This time we found the glasses, too. It will be the 4th time he is Harry Potter. He wanted to be Yu-Gi-Oh, but we couldn't find the costume. Harry Potter is fine. He can use the costume at the school book parade. They aren't having a costume parade or Halloween parties on Halloween. ?? Instead they are having a "book parade" where the kids will dress up as characters from a book. And the book can be real or imaginary. ?? The parade will be on the 26th and they'll have a Halloween party that day. Why?

Anyway, after the excursion I crawled in my bed, turned on the Cubs/D-backs game and took a nap. We went out for dinner, then I crawled back in bed and watched the Rockies/Phillies game and took another nap. That explains why I'm writing at midnight.

I've been feeling kinda restless or something lately, like I'm waiting for something. I'm not sure what it is, but it makes me feel cranky. Work is good, I feel cranky when I get home. Maybe it's because MT has been working on that rental property every night so he gets home around 8:30 and so I feel like we don't see each other. And all he wants to talk about is the rental and getting more property and I'm having a hard time with all that. He was home all day today but we didn't do anything except go to dinner. He laid on the couch and went to the property while I was at the library and Party City. He doesn't like sports and I don't like violent movies so we hung out in separate tv rooms. We'll get it together soon and I'll just have to ride this out, and I will be ok.
