totally random

Sooooo many thoughts scampering around in my head...where should I begin?

Reality TV: I watched the Rock of Love Reunion on Sunday night. Disappointing. Why would they give so much face time to the horrible Lacey if she wasn't someone that was "planted" on the show? She was so nasty it was like a wreck; you couldn't help but look at it. And I actually felt bad for Heather who looked like she ditched the 80s hair for some long extensions. I think she really liked Bret and was sad when he didn't choose her. And I did like Jes, the girl Bret did choose, until she told him he picked the wrong girl (he probably did) and exhibited some cranky body language. I didn't like the way Jes came off on the reunion. I felt bad for Bret at the end of the show because he was standing there looking a little confused and put off. The whole thing left me with a yucky taste in my mouth, but it was sure entertaining while it was on!

I'm really digging Survivor China. The challenges those people have to do are awesome. Who thinks of those challenges? Nice work there!!

Baseball: 4 teams in the League Championship Series' who weren't even in the playoffs last year. How great is that? People in Phoenix, get yourself to the ballpark! I heard there were around 12,000 tickets for each of the first 2 games in Phoenix that haven't been sold. It's the NLCS Phoenix. You've got a fun young team to watch. Go to the ballgame! I'll be cheering for the Rockies. In the AL you've got Cleveland and Boston. That will be a fun series to watch. I love the Indians for ridding the playoffs of the Team That Must Not Be Named.

Music: My favorite cd I bought this year was Sam's Town by The Killers. I have listened to that cd all summer and I really love it. I didn't think there was any way they could top Hot Fuss, but I was wrong. Sam's Town is great.

Being a landlordess: I don't love it. I don't have much to do with it because MT takes care of the actual property and the tenants. I just take care of the finances, but it's stressful anyway. We have one tenant that hasn't paid and she'll have to move out. It's not fun to deal with this type of situation.

Work: This is probably too big of a subject for this post. Work is good and bad and right now it's mostly good, so I'm really happy about that. When you get up in the morning and think of all the things you have to do at work and you still want to go, it's a good thing.
