fall back

I love to fall back. I love waking up at 8:24 but it's really 7:24 and the whole day is stretched out in front of me. I filled my day with things I like to do. I read quite a bit this morning, even though the book I was reading ripped my heart out and I had to stop. I called my sister to catch up on what's been going on with her. Reading her words in blogs and emails is great, but there's nothing like hearing her voice. I cleaned out 4 shelves in my kitchen and even though it sounds a little dumb, I felt really happy to do that. I went to the grocery store and Albertson's was having it's buy one get one free meat sale. Happiness is a freezer full of meat! I watched the Patriots/Colts game and ate chicken wings. I took a little snooze and missed the Patriots score at the end. I did a bunch of laundry. Happiness is also having a full underwear drawer! To finish my day I'm going to change the sheets on my bed. I love clean sheets. I'd be happy to have clean sheets on my bed every day or every other day, but honestly, I'm too lazy to put that much effort into it. Maybe that's why I'm so happy when I do have clean sheets on my bed. It just feels soooo good.

I've got a lot of stuff coming up this week. Work will be busy because it is the first full week of the month and I'm in the business department and we have "close". Wednesday morning I have a mammogram (my 4th in a year) and Wednesday night, the Jazz game. Friday I'm hosting a baby shower. Saturday night I have a work dinner thing. In between I'll find time to get to the gym, sign T up for Jr. Jazz basketball, schedule some swimming lessons for him, schedule my annual appointment with "the girl doctor", make sure the hospital has my account straightened out, watch episodes from season 1 of "Ugly Betty" and be an all-around great wife and mother. That's what I do!

why have you had 4 mammograms in a year? that seems excessive...
