Not much to say today. I had a really busy day at work. I went in early and stayed late; we barely got T picked up from daycare by 6:00. We made it, though, and everything is good.
I don't talk much about my work here. I want to keep my work separate from my home life as much as I can, but the truth is that where I work and the people I work with are a big part of my life. I work for a great company and I've had lots of opportunities there. The people I work with are great and I enjoy them almost all the time. I don't get too worried about the times like today when I spend extra time there because they treat me very well. My goal is to make sure the company is getting their money's worth out of me every day, but right now I feel like I get way more from them than I can possibly give back. Today I received a couple of really nice things that they certainly don't need to give me. I just feel so fortunate to be an employee there. My work can be very challenging, as it was today, but very rewarding as well.
Now that I've been as vague as I can be, I think I'll put some music on my new nano and browse a store to see how I'll spend my service award.
Before I forget, over here I wrote about T's adventures in sales. I'm happy to report that he was a top seller in his school and will get to have the limo ride to lunch at a date to be named! HOORAY! I'm happy for him even though hoiking all that cookie dough back to the office isn't that much fun for the mom.
