hump day

I had some words that I posted, but the more I thought about them, the more I just didn't want the negative energy from the words out in the world. Even though probably only 3 people would read the words, I didn't want my 3 people to have those words on their minds about me. I know this is all very cryptic since I deleted that post, but trust me, 3 people, you should be glad!

T is in Idaho with his grandparents. I think he's happy to be there instead of at the daycare since he's off-track, but it sounds like maybe he's a little (I hate to say the word) bored. He'll be back in school on Tuesday, starting Jr Jazz basketball on Wednesday with his first game on Saturday, so he'll be back in the swing of things faster than you can say "Pocatello."

Granite got their money's worth out of me today. I was an ass-whupper! I got so many things done off my task list. It felt great to get some projects done.

We've got some fun stuff lined up for December. Here's a list:
  • holiday dinners with friends at really great restaurants
  • Polar Express on the Heber Valley Railroad
  • company Christmas party
  • A Christmas Carol at Hale Center Theater
  • trip to Mom & Dad's house for Christmas!
And don't forget shopping for just the right gift. Don't you love that feeling when you find just the thing for someone and you know they will enjoy it? The past couple of years I have tried to get out of the gift card rut. Everyone likes a gift card, but it's fun to unwrap something rather than a card, isn't it? So I've been trying to get something and maybe supplementing it with a gift card just to be on the safe side. And I've even tried to give ideas of things I would like to have, in addition to gift cards, on my own Christmas wish list.

This morning the first song I heard was "All I Want for Christmas." Such a cute little tune. I want to download it and other Christmas songs. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow, because right now I hear Edward, Bella or Becky calling me to read.
