more is better

Tonight was much more sane than last night. We got home around the regular time, but instead of rushing off to the gym, I decided to stay home and relax. I threw in some laundry and started dinner, taking time to channel surf between watching the Jazz play the Raptors, America's Next Top Model and Kid Nation. My parents called during all this TV watching and it was nice to talk to them.

Afterward I came upstairs to play on my computer. It is addictive! My mom is a computer junkie (you know it's true!) and I'm beginning to understand how she can spend hours in front of her screen. I work with a computer all day, so it's not as tempting for me, but with the NaBloPoMo challenge to post every day, I am on every day. Tonight I spent quality time with my big iPod. I downloaded 4 more of my cds (Eagles Greatest Hits, Enrique Inglesias, Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation and U2 War) then I went to iTunes just to look around and ended up buying a couple of songs (Baby It's Cold Outside - Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Jordan, Life is a Highway - Tom Cochrane, Bittersweet Symphony - The Verve). The last 2 were on iTunes collections of 1-hit wonders of the 90s. I then spied something about Ryan Adams (love him) and it turns out that in October he released an EP of 7 songs. It's called Follow the Lights, so I got that. And The Killers have a new cd of B tracks called Sawdust and I want that too! That will be another day when I reload my iTunes account with another gift card. Sometimes more is just more, except when it comes to music when more is always better!

Tomorrow night T and I will be downtown at the ESA watching High School Musical on Ice! It should be fun.

YES, I admit it proudly. The Internet is the greatest invention ever. I am way past hooked. It's a part of me now :)
