I went to work and I was busy. Tonight I talked to my dad and my sister, then MT, T & I went out to finish up our Thanksgiving shopping by picking up the prime rib and going to Wal-Mart for a couple of items. I don't normally go to Wal-Mart, but I had this gift card so I decided to use it to buy a small coffee pot. I don't drink coffee, but my in-laws do, so we thought it would be nice to get a coffee pot so they wouldn't have to run down to the gas station in the morning for a cuppa joe. We also walked out with a new book for me (Twilight by Stephenie Meyer) the new cd by the Eagles for MT (and me!) and some Pokemon cards for T.

Speaking of books, my to read stack is getting huge! I usually get my books at the library, but I have gift cards and sometimes there are books that I just don't want to wait for. This week I bought Love in the Time of Cholera. I'm really looking forward to reading that. And I got Twilight today, as I mentioned. It's rare, but sometimes I just can't find anything that looks interesting at the library. That didn't happen on Saturday when I found 3 books to check out. I also still have one from the previous week. There's probably 6 or 7 other books that I own piled up on my nightstand.

One thing I'm really looking forward to doing this weekend is going to the Franklin Covey store to pick out my real planner pages for next year. I get the plain green pages through my work, then I go to the store to upgrade the pages because I like the pretty ones. This year I tried something new and got a weekly planner, but I missed having a blank page to write stuff on each day, so I'm going back to the daily pages this year. I'm a pretty big nerd when it comes to my planner. I just really love making lists and planning stuff and looking at those blank pages waiting to be filled up! It's sick, I know. My friend at work was looking at getting a new binder for her pages. I told her she should get something she really loves because that will make her want to use it more. She got the cutest green leather binder! I have a really great black binder with a zipper, but I loved her green binder.

Here's a pet peeve: all those advertisement cards that are stuck in magazines. Some of them are worthwhile (15% off from Eddie Bauer), some just irritate (I can't name one because I already ripped it out and threw it away). Just a random thought.

GRRR! This is a boring post. Sorry. Just trying to post something every day. :0) This post is like eating potato chips, filling but not very good.
