reading, eating & taking it easy

I read a book today. That's all I've done, read and oh yeah, eat leftovers. It's been a great day. The book I read was Sloppy Firsts by Megan McCafferty. I loved it. I can't wait to read the second book. I hope the library is open tomorrow!

4 of the house guests left this afternoon: my brother-in-law Kev and his ladies. The oldest girl played with T the entire time she was here. She doesn't have a PS2 in her room so her mom thinks she may have video games withdrawals. The little one was a darling little person who I enjoyed talking to quite a lot. I love how little kids have cartoon voices and she is such a girlie girl that I was thoroughly charmed by her. And the girlfriend is a very nice lady who is quite interesting. I really liked her scrapbook of her trip to New York City. And Kev...what can I say about him? I've actually known him longer than I've known MT. He's quite lovable.

Tonight T and I are hanging out in my room while the others are downstairs watching The Last King of Scotland. T and I will be watching White Christmas. Well, I'll be watching it and T will be playing with his action figures. At least we'll be together. We may even nosh on some little smokies in bbq sauce. Tomorrow T will be off for a week in Pocatello with his grandparents. I know that he really wants to go and he will have fun. I'll sure miss him, though.
