22 days until Christmas

It felt strange not to post for the past couple of days. Posting had become a routine that I fell into every night and I missed it a little. It's sad to say, but as things were happening on Saturday and Sunday, I found myself thinking, "I could totally write about this on the blog!"

I won't go into details, but here's what the weekend was about:

On Saturday it snowed and snowed. I had a little over 4" at my house. Since MT was at work, I took it upon myself to shovel. We live on a corner, and there is a lot of sidewalk. I listened to my iPod and even though it was still tough because the snow was pretty heavy and wet - good snowball snow - I got through it. That night MT and I went to dinner at Tuscany with my credit union group. What a beautiful restaurant. It's tucked into an almost hidden spot in the Cottonwood/Holladay area; I must have driven right past it 100 times. The food and service was excellent. We would like to go back.

Sunday morning we drove to Pocatello, arriving there around noon. My mother-in-law made a nice lunch and MT's brother and his family came over, too. It was a nice meal. We left around 4, getting back to SLC at 7:00. T was happy to be home, but didn't want to sleep in his bed. He climbed into ours around 1:30. He didn't have school today so he stayed home and slept in. Lucky boy!

Today was just a normal work day. My boss B has some type of flesh-eating bacteria on his face (I know! It's not right) and he's taking medicine for that. He insists it's not contagious even though the doctor isn't sure what it is. All I know is that I sure didn't feel very well after I saw him! LOL

This week: Christmas shopping/gift wrapping/gift making, Jr Jazz basketball practice and game, company Christmas party, Nutcracker on Saturday night!

Shoveling snow? No, thanks. Yummy Italian food? Yes, please.

Good family time? Sounds great. Facial flesh-eating bacteria? Sounds dreadful.

Missing your daily posts? Yes! But happy for the update :)
