#110 weekend in So Cal

Since I was with the 3 people I know who usually read this, I think I'll just tell you about my favorite parts of the weekend:

I like the Long Beach airport. It is small but planes that are big can land there. My favorite part is that you don't walk through a jetway to get to the terminal. They open the door of the plane and you walk down a ramp. That means that you have instant exposure to the glorious Southern California weather. On Saturday morning at 7 am it was around 70 degrees with a lovely amount of moisture in the air to rehydrate the skin.

Breakfast on the patio with Mia, Mom and T. It felt so good to sit in the sun and visit.

Seeing all the aunts and uncles. T falling asleep in my lap even though he is way too big for that.

Lunch at Lizzie's on Sunday. I can't find soppresata here. (Probably because I can't even spell it.)

SEA WORLD, especially the Shamu show and Atlantis! I wish we could have gone on that ride a couple more times.

Old Town Mexican Cafe - good margarita, good chili Colorado, good tortillas, bad decorations. Way too much fun taking pictures outside after the meal. I want a copy of the photo with the random man who joined our group!

Point Loma, the kissing statue, and being with the family. It was all good.

The house is so quiet without T around. I'm glad that he has the chance to spend time with his grandparents (and his great-aunt), but we miss him.
