It is not supposed to snow on May 1, even in Utah, but it did. I wish I'd had my camera to take a photo of the big, fat snowflakes that were falling near the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon this morning. I drove by Old Mill golf course this morning on my way to the plant, and the course is covered with snow! It's just not right. And it was cold.

I'm feeling a little blue about gaining a couple of pounds last month. Of course I did eat a lot of tortillas over the weekend, and I haven't been saying "no!" to food I know to be not-so-good for me. And though I exercise, I haven't been getting good and sweaty lately, so I know I need to kick it up and do the right thing. Still. It's a bit depressing and makes the mindset to take care of business a little tougher. So I'll sulk a little tonight and get back on track in the morning. I could use a cleanse or a fast or something to kind of clear out my system. Maybe this weekend? I just feel all full and bloated and yucky :( Maybe I just gave you a little TMI. Sorry.

The Mexico scrapbook is almost done! Yes, it's been over a year since we got back from the trip and I am still working on scrapbooking the memories. Now I'm to the Friday when we went to Tulum and Xel-Ha. That should be fun. I've looked at all the pics and figured out which ones I want to use. So why am I writing about it here? I should be doing it! I told Kelsie I'd bring it to work on Monday, so that's what I'm shooting for. When I get done with Mexico, I really want to start on the 2008 vacation scrapbook. I wonder how long that will take? We were in Mexico for seven days and it's taken over a year. We were on vacation for 12 days this year! It could be 18 months of scrapbooking, at the rate I go!

I feel like I really need to give a "shout out" to Granite Construction. I received a couple of tickets to the Jazz game tomorrow night - Game 6 - in the suite. I feel really lucky to get the tickets and thankful for everything that Granite has done for me. It's a great place to work and I am happy to be there. MT and I are really looking forward to the game and hoping for a Jazz win!!
