#112 another great Saturday

I've probably said this before, but I really love weekends. It is so nice to do what YOU want to do. Here's what I chose to do today:

I slept in until 9:00. I talked to my son. I put on shorts, a favorite t-shirt and sandals.
I took my dog to the vet to get a shot.
I had the oil changed in my car.
I hit golf balls for awhile - first time this year.
I went to Costco.
I came home and took a nap for a couple of hours.
MT and I went to dinner at the little Mexican restaurant on our street.
I worked on the Mexico scrapbook.

OK, so it might not be what you choose to do, but I enjoyed everything I did. I guess I'm kinda nerdy that way! I really try to be "in the moment" in everything I do. When I was at the oil change place, I looked at a National Geographic with pictures of China. I was ok with being there and doing that. When I woke up from my nap, I wasn't bummed that I'd slept for two hours when I could have been doing...whatever. I was happy that I slept.

Anway, that's all I have to say about that. Oh, I'm getting closer to the end on the scrapbook. I should be able to finish it tomorrow unless I choose to do something else.

Quick note about the Jazz game on Friday night: AWESOME!!! The Jazz defeated the Rockets to move on to the second round of the playoffs. The Jazz will face the Lakers beginning Sunday in L.A. GO JAZZ!
