I feel better now that the Jazz have evened out the series with the Lakers. Both games here in SLC were close, but the Jazz pulled it out and go back to LA tied up 2-2. Man, a Jazz win on Wednesday night would be sooooo sweet! I'll be cheering from my living room for the men in blue.
I haven't done very much today. It could be because my entire body is sore from the work-out I had yesterday. In the morning I manned the weed-whacker. We had some seriously tall and lush weeds on the south side of our house. We went through two reels of weed-whacker line and only got about halfway through. It's not that hard, and the whacker isn't that heavy, but my arms were a little sore from it. Then I went to the gym and lifted. I don't lift heavy weight, but I haven't done it in awhile, so my biceps are a little sore today. My legs are the worst, and not my knees, either. My quads scream every time I sit down. Lunges are killers. It has to be done, though.
This is my most unfavorite Mother's Day of the 10 I've had. My son is still in California. I don't have any problem with him being there, but I really missed him today. I even cried and felt sorry for myself. I pouted, also. Then I bought myself a cake and the Josh Groban dvd, Awake Live, filmed in Salt Lake - I was there! - and I felt a little better. Plus the Jazz won and that was awesome, too.
Now it's time to watch the finale of Survivor. Happy Mother's Day!
