#156 slow Sunday

It seems I'm in a little pattern with my weight loss. This week I lost .6 lbs. Last week it was 2.6. The pattern seems to be that I'll have a big week, then a tiny week. I talked to one of the WW leaders about it. She said she has seen this pattern happen to others and she assured me that every week there is a loss is a good week. Slow and steady is a good way to go. She told me I'm more likely to keep it off that way, also.

The leader that I talked to is my hero. She's lost like, 135 lbs. She looks awesome and she's really nice.

T and I went to see High School Musical 3: Senior Year yesterday. We loved it! It was a pretty good story and the music was really fun and there was lots of it. We bought the soundtrack and T listened to it many times yesterday. Two of the kids who live next door were extras in the movie. Fun!

My dad was unable to come visit us this week because he was stricken with Bell's Palsy on Thursday morning. He's doing fine. He is the third man I know to have this ailment. MT's brother had it several years ago and MT had it a couple of years ago. Bell's Palsy affects the nerves on one side of your face. It looks like you've had a stroke, but you haven't. The doctor's prescribe some type of steroid to cure it, and usually it will go away within a few weeks or so. MT didn't like the steroids.

T was so sad that his grandpa wasn't coming to visit. He loves having him here. T will get to spend quality time with both Grandpa and Grammy when I take him to CA next weekend. He gets to stay there most of November while he's off track.

I am moving in slow motion today for sure. I've been puttering around the house, watching a little Food Network and some football. I think it's because I was up late last night watching the baseball game. I was dozing off and on through the fifth to the ninth innings, but I woke up in time to watch the Phillies win in the bottom of the ninth. Good stuff!

Now I think I'll put some more clothes in the washer, get my shopping list together and head to the grocery store. Sounds fun, huh?
