How can it be that it's already time to go back home?
I was lazy today. I got up around 8:30, read and lounged. We had some breakfast, then Lizzie headed back to San Diego. Dad and I watched some football. I did go outside for half an hour or so. It was a very nice day and it felt good to sit in the sun for awhile.
Mom and I snacked on bread with tomato. That was so good!
I took a little nap this afternoon. I love the Sunday afternoon football nap. It was the Packers-Cowboys game that lulled me to sleep today.
Tonight we had dinner at T's favorite restaurant, Panda Inn. It was good. My boy ate a big plate of meat. I was so proud. :p
It's good to get away from home for a little while. It helps put things in perspective and gives me time to figure out what is most important for me to do. My focus for the next week will be getting the house ready for our Thanksgiving guests, doing a bunch of cleaning and thinking about a menu for the day. After that, it will be time to think about Christmas. MT's family will be at our house for Thanksgiving and my family will be there for Christmas. I'm looking forward to it all.
I've really enjoyed spending these last few days with my Mom and Dad, and with Lizzie yesterday. I needed a little break to recharge my batteries, so to speak, and it was great to do it here with the nice weather and the family. I talked to MT this morning and he said it snowed in SLC. I don't know if I'm quite ready for winter, but I guess I need to be!
T and I fly out in the morning, and I'll be in the office tomorrow afternoon. I have my last injection on my right knee late on Monday afternoon. The knee has been feeling pretty good, so I'm hopeful that it will be ok.
