#1194 big fat June

Happy June, everyone! Since June is an "even" month, my plan is to write every other even day. I actually find writing every other day more challenging than writing every day. I think it's because when I write every day, I know that I'm going to write and I try to think of something to say. I kind of struggle with the every-other-day thing, but I don't want to write every day, either.

I like the month of June. For one thing, it's my birthday month. School's out, summer is here and there's almost always something fun to do. We've got fun stuff planned every weekend this month:

This weekend, my BFF LA is coming down for a "girl's weekend". MT and T are going to Idaho to prepare for the family reunion. LA and I plan to shop and go to a baseball game and have a special treat since we will be celebrating our birthdays.

The weekend of the 14th is another birthday celebration: it's my friend Kelsie's son's birthday. MT and I may go over to their house to watch the fun and games, but I'm holding out hope to score a couple of tickets to see One Republic. I don't really see that happening, though.

The weekend of the 21st is more open. On the 20th we'll go to a baseball game on Friday with my work group.

The last weekend of June is the family reunion. It's MT's side of the family and the reunion will be held at the cabins in Soda Springs. I've been to the cabins a couple of times, but haven't had a good time there. I am going to be open-minded and ready to have fun.

After family reunion weekend, there will only be two weeks before our trip to Mexico! Oh my gosh! I'm so excited! My friend Nicole just got back from a week in Hawaii and she's all tanned and relaxed and had great beach stories. I know that Mexico and Hawaii are different, but vacation rules!! I love love love hearing about people's vacations.
