#1237 I did a lot of it in Mexico

I read.

I read while I was sitting on the beach.

And I read when I was sitting by the pool.

I had started a book before we left - Sycamore Row by John Grisham - and I was only about 100 pages into it. I finished it while we were in Mexico. Then I read Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand. It was fantastic! Then I read Where We Belong by Emily Giffin. I liked it a lot. On the plane ride home I started reading Must Love Otters by Eliza Gordon. I would have finished it on the plane, but I fell asleep, so I finished it the next morning before I went to work. I still count that as a vacation read, so I finished four books during our eight night vacation.

When we go on trips, I love to read. It's so relaxing and pleasant!

Since we've been home I have finished two more books: All the Summer Girls by Meg Donohue and The Summer of Skinny Dipping by Amanda Howells.

I'm going to write a little something about each of these books on the 2014 Reading Page, if you're interested in checking it out!
