#1271 watching TV and trouble sleeping on Sunday

It's been a pretty quiet weekend for us. Yesterday T did a community service project by volunteering for a couple of hours with the Utah Food Bank. The Food Bank was doing a food drive and accepting donations at all the Wal-Mart stores in the valley. T and his friend Ruben were at the Taylorsville Wal-Mart. It was rainy yesterday, so I don't know if they got many donations. T said they mostly stood around in the truck and chatted with the Food Bank people.

Today was pretty quiet, too. I did some little chores around the house and tonight I've been watching TV. Have I mentioned how much I like my new gigantic TV? Everything is more beautiful on the new TV. Tonight was the season premier of my favorite show Once Upon a Time. After that I watched The Good Wife. I watched that show for the first time last week and I thought it was good. Plus Christine Baranski is in it and I really like her.

I was just getting ready to turn off the TV but then I thought I'd check in on the score of the Sunday night football game. It's Dallas against New Orleans and I'm surprised that the Cowboys have a big lead. Bummer.

We should be getting our new furniture this week. I know that the furniture is now in stock and we just have to make arrangements for the delivery of the new and MT will make arrangements for the removal of the used furniture. I think that one of our tenants are going to take the old furniture.

It's weird, but I dread going to bed on Sunday night. I have the hardest time getting to sleep on Sunday night. I know it's all in my head, but I toss and turn and can't shut down my brain and it always happens on Sunday. Today, to fight the problem, I woke up early, I've kept busy all day, I didn't nap, I exercised and I haven't overeaten so hopefully I can just drop off to sleep peacefully and without a sleeping aid. Yes, I have been known to take a sleeping pill to get to sleep. I don't like doing it; I'd rather just fall asleep naturally. The good news tonight is that I am yawning now, so I'm hopeful that sleep will come easily.

Well, I don't think the Saints are going to make a comeback tonight. There's less than two minutes left in the game and the Saints are down by 21 points. Too bad.
