Ok, I'm just being silly, but truly, this show makes me happy. It is so cute and funny and the people are all lovely.
The show is on Monday nights, but MT started watching something that comes on at the same time a couple of weeks before Jane the Virgin started, so now I just watch the show On Demand whenever I have a free 43 minutes. There have only been four episodes so far, but you must start with episode one or you might get a little confused.
Gina Rodriguez plays Jane. She is completely adorable and fantastic.
Justin Baldoni plays Rafael. The guy is smokin' hot. At first I wasn't crazy about him, but then it just clicked and now I want him to be in every scene.
Really, all the people in the show are very attractive, from Jane's grandmother (who only speaks in Spanish - with subtitles), to Jane's mom to Jane's fiance Michael and Rafael's wife Petra. And it is very entertaining, also. When I watched the first couple episodes, MT was in the room with me. He was reading, but when I started to giggle, he started to watch and he was entertained by the show as well.
Do yourself a favor and check this show out online or however you can manage it. I can't promise that you'll like it, but I do, so maybe you will, too. :)
