#1352 several random thoughts

Work was nice today. Even though it is a federal holiday, our office was open. It was fine, though, because it was the start of a conference for the managers and a bunch of engineers so the office was very quiet and peaceful. :) A wonderful side note is that we will have two more days like it because they don't get back until Thursday!

This evening has been nice at home, too. I got home around 5:30, so I decided to spend a little time with my exercise bike. I rode for about 30 minutes, reading and listening to music while breaking a little sweat and doing some huffing and puffing. Then I had a nice quick stretch. I have been neglecting myself and depriving myself of how good it feels to stretch the body.

I made a decision on my way home from work, too. I need to start cooking dinner by 6:30 so we can eat around 7. I know that sounds simple, but it had just never occurred to me before. MT didn't get home until around 7:25 tonight, but I told him about my eating-at-7 plan, and he was good with it I've noticed that if I eat much later than 7:30 my tummy feels bloated and yucky when I get to bed. Tonight's meal was simple bacon and eggs. Quick and easy and tasty.

My favorite show, Jane the Virgin, was back on tonight after a winter break. I love that show! Did you know that Gina Rodriguez, the lady who plays Jane, won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Comedy? Way to go, Gina! She's adorable.

Not much of a post tonight; just a bunch of random thoughts. Happy Monday!
