#1519 and...I'm back!

Hola everyone! I'm back at home after an absolutely wonderful vacation with my mom and my sister in Barcelona, Spain. The time there was even better than I ever dreamed. I took a lot of photos, but I haven't even downloaded them yet. It seems like I've been busy/tired since I got home.

We got back to the U.S. on Sunday which was probably the longest day ever. We left Barcelona around noon on Sunday. We flew to Atlanta. That flight is about nine and a half hours. We landed in Atlanta around 4:30 pm Atlanta time. We rushed through passport control and customs and just barely made the flight to Los Angeles. That flight is about four and a half hours. We got to LA at 7 pm California time. I powered through and stayed up until around 10 pm. I can't even think about what time that is in Barcelona, but I can tell you I was awake for a really long time on Sunday.

I stayed at my mom's house that night and slept on the couch. At some point, maybe around 1:30 am, the phone rang and I woke up totally disoriented. The phone ringing sounded like the door buzzer for the last apartment we stayed in and I thought someone was trying to come up to the apartment. I had no idea where I was. It took me a few moments to figure it out, then I fell back to sleep. I was awakened a couple of hours later by Lulu, Mom's dog. She jumped up on me and licked my nose and danced around on me until I took her outside. The blood moon had already done it's thing, I think. It just looked bright and full.

I came home Monday afternoon. I was glad to be home and see my boys and my doggie. I was still really tired and went to bed kind of early. Tuesday I went to work and it was a bit of a blur. Wednesday I worked then went to visit with T's teachers for parent-teacher conferences. He's doing great and I'm really proud of him. Today I worked and felt pretty good, but I'm totally tuckered out right now. T has some friends over and they are being pretty noisy. I know they will quiet down when I tell them I'm going to bed.

It will probably be this weekend when I have time to download the photos. I hope I have some good ones. It will be fun for me to write about our trip and share some photos with you. :)
