#1549 new stuff from Trader Joe's

I went to Trader Joe's today. I hadn't been there since early October; I think I went the weekend after I got back from Spain. I probably didn't need to go to the store since I went to my regular grocery store last night, but we were completely out of the Mandarin orange chicken and we just can't have that problem. Mandarin orange chicken is a go-to dish when I don't feel like cooking.

Whenever I go to Trader Joe's, I always try to pick up at least one or two new things that I haven't tried before. Today I got three new things:

Yeah, it's just string cheese. T likes string cheese. Trader Joe's was selling this package for $2.99 which is a lot less than I can buy it at my regular grocery store. I'm sure it will be delicious.

I like sriracha. I like potato chips. These chips are cut in a pretty lattice fashion, so they are crispy. And spicy! These chips were a nice addition to my pretzel roll, salami and cheese sandwich. Well done Trader Joe's!

Oh. My. Goodness. Pecan pie filling in a jar! I love pecan pie. My dad makes the best pecan pie ever and I've tried, but my pie doesn't come out as well as Dad's does, so this might be the answer to my prayers! Last year I bought a pecan pie from Trader Joe's and it was delicious, but homemade, even kind of homemade will be best, right? You just add eggs to this filling,  pour it in a crust and bake it. A cool thing: all the ingredients are regular food that you recognize. The lady at TJ's told me that people have said there are not enough pecans in it, but I don't think that will be a concern for me. The nuts are not my favorite part of the pie. I like the filling the best. In fact, when I eat pecan pie, I eat the pecans first, then the filling and crust. Don't judge. :)

OOH! Also at Trader Joe's today...Danish Almond Kringle!!!

All in all, a successful shopping experience.

My Trader's hasn't had Kringles for a long time and I am annoyed!
