T is spending the night at a friend's house. When the final bell rang at school today, it signaled the end of the term and the beginning of spring break. Our house is very quiet tonight. It's a preview of what it will be like in the fall when T goes to college.
What did MT and I do with our quiet time? Before MT got home, I read a little, then made dinner. We had BLT sandwiches. We watched Survivor. MT came upstairs study for his real estate license. I watched the end of the Jazz game (a win in Houston!) and cleaned up the kitchen before I got in an episode of Gilmore Girls.
Now we are getting ready for bed. I'm pretty sure we will both read and that I will fall asleep way before MT does.
It's all good.
