#1990 bookworm

I received a Barnes and Noble gift card for Christmas and it's kind of been burning a hole in my wallet. Tonight I decided to use the gift card, so I went to the actual Barnes and Noble store and I bought four honest-to-goodness paper books and a calendar.

One of the books, The Autobiography of Gucci Mane, is for T. He's been wanting it for awhile and he has time on his hands to read right now, so I figured why not? I was only planning to buy myself the calendar and save the rest of the gift card, but then I was drawn like a moth to a flame to the table that said BUY 2 GET 1 FREE.

I can't resist that table.

I was easily able to find three books, all of which are on my to-read list. Wanna know what I got? The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah; Everyone Brave is Forgiven by Chris Cleave; and A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman.

Typically I am not a buyer of books. I much prefer to get them for free at the library. But in this case, I had a gift card and the books were right there and now they are here in my house. I don't allow myself to go to the bookstore very often.

There are so many books I would like to read!

While I was on vacation, I read four books. I liked three of them very much; the fourth was just meh. I'm going to do my reading list page again, so if you're interested in what I have read, look for the tab and click on it. If you've read an interesting book, please leave a comment and let me know the title.
