Happy Sunday evening. We did the "fall back" thing with our time, so I've been a little discombobulated all day. What I don't like is that it will be dark when I leave for work and dark when I leave work to go home. Ahh winter.
What did I do this weekend? On Saturday I went to WW, then I went to my neighborhood Starbucks for some "me time". I write in my journal and I plan the coming month. I met MT for lunch, then I came home to watch the Utah football game. It was a good one and the Utes were victorious over the Washington Huskies. The Utes are fun to watch this year.
After the game I took a nap. I meant to sleep for an hour, but it ended up being a little over two hours. I have had a bit of a cold, so my energy is lacking. I needed the sleep.
When I woke up, MT and I watched season two of the Amazon Prime series Jack Ryan. I have a thing for John Krasinski and I think he's wonderful as Jack Ryan. Last night we watched five episodes. That's nearly unheard of for me because I usually start playing with my phone or fall asleep or wander off. I was riveted. It was a good story with good action. I probably would have watched the final three episodes last night, but MT thought we should get to bed since it was midnight.
This morning we went to breakfast, as per our usual routine. My pancake was not delicious. We might have to shake up our Sunday morning ritual by finding another restaurant. When we got home, I cleaned the downstairs and did some laundry. I also went to the grocery store, then made lunch. I changed the sheets on my bed and it was about that time that MT came home from collecting rents and working on the flip. We decided to take a nap. I set a timer for an hour and fell asleep very quickly. I don't know if MT slept at all. He said I did not move for the whole hour.
When we woke up, it was time to finish Jack Ryan. So good!
I interviewed a young lady who will house-and-dog sit for us while we are on vacation. Her name is Katie and her business is dog-sitting. She seems nice and responsible and conscientious. I feel good about this decision.
I had a big to-do list this weekend, and I mostly got everything done except one thing: I didn't get out my winter clothes and put my summer clothes away. I think I'll be okay though because the weather forecast for next week is high 50s/low 60s during the day. Next weekend I will definitely swap out my clothes AND pick out what I'm going to take to Mexico!
What I'm looking forward to this week is going to the Jazz game on Wednesday night with my work friends. I think that MT's brother Kelly will come over one night this week to hang out, so it will be nice to see him.
Hope y'all had a great weekend!
