Instead of lots of words, how about some photos of weekend stuff?
SATURDAY
I picked up Osi's paw print memento from the vet. I sobbed. It's pretty and I'm glad to have it.
This is my front room. I opened the windows and laid or sat on the couch and finished a book. The Osi memento is on the table with the spider plant.
MT and I went for a walk around the track at the fitness center. he looks stern, but he was nice, just squinty.
We picked up some food from one of our local Mexican restaurants. This is my smothered burrito with rice and beans. It was exactly what I wanted.
After our meal, we walked down the street to the c-store to get a movie from Redbox. I swear you can see the Wasatch Mountains all the way to Layton, the skies are so clear! (Okay, that is an exaggeration; you can probably only see the mountains to Farmington.)
No pic of my happy face when we finished watching all the movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The movie we got from Redbox was Spiderman: Far from Home - chronologically the last movie in the series. I did it! I can tell you without a doubt, if there were sports on, I wouldn't have completed this mission in such a short amount of time.
SUNDAY
After breakfast I planted the spider-ettes in a real pot. Planting the babies in the egg carton worked great. They rooted beautifully.
Here is the finished product. So proud! Hope they do well in their new home, the white pot.
I made these really flat cookies. Not enough flour. They taste good. They are oatmeal butterscotch chocolate chip.
In the afternoon MT and I went for a bike ride in Park City. I have never seen the road in front of the barn without cars.
For dinner we had potatoes gratin with ham - homemade. So good. Pure comfort food.
No pic for family TV night. The three of us watched episodes 3 and 4 of The Last Dance. I already know how this ends, and I'm pretty sure it will crush my soul 22 years later just like it did in 1998.
Hope y'all had a good weekend. Stay safe. Stay home. More words here on Tuesday.
