MT, his brother, and their mom are planning a return visit to the Outer Banks, North Carolina for next year. They have already contacted the owner of the house we stayed in the last time we were there and if they haven't already booked it, they are dang close to doing so.
I enjoyed that vacation, mostly I think, because my sister was there with me so I always had a buddy to hang out with, to go with me on beach walks and to wipe my bloody lip when I drunkenly face-planted on the boardwalk.
Some of the participants in the next OBX trip will be the same, but there will be new people too. I know it won't be the same experience because of the different people and the different time of year (aiming for May 2021). Still, the house is great and the beach is gorgeous. You can't beat the sunrise.
