One of the women at work posted "Happy 'ber months!" on our Teams page this morning. I was like, "Whaaat?" but then I thought about it and these last four months of the year all end in "ber", hence, the 'ber months.
Today the weather here was perfectly wonderful. It was actually a little chilly this morning. I had to wear sweats when I took Mac out for her walk this morning. I also wore socks in my house because my tootsies were a bit cold. This evening's walk was delightful. I'll take another 60 days or so just like this please. I think the high temperature was in the mid 70's, so it felt great after the blistering hot and dry weather we have had. The temperatures are supposed to climb back to the mid-90s by the weekend, so we are not completely finished with the summer weather, but a change is in the air.
There's a full moon out tonight. Go look at it.
I'm sad tonight because my beloved Jazz have been knocked out of the playoffs. It wasn't supposed to be like this. The Jazz were up three games to one in a best of seven series. The upside is that now my evenings will be free again. Jazz basketball is must-watch TV for me, and now that they are out, I may or may not check out basketball games. Maybe during the Finals; it will depend on who is playing, I guess.
Happy September. Stay safe. Be kind.
