I recently started following an account on IG called @visitsavannah because I found that I was thinking a lot about Savannah, GA and I wanted to look at photos from there. I have been to Savannah twice, once in May 2017 with Lizzie, and then in December 2018 with Mom and Lizzie. Both times were wonderful and amazing.
There is something about visiting a city during the holidays that is really special. The city is all dressed up and showing itself off for Christmas. Houses are decorated with wreaths and lights. In a southern location like Savannah, there is a chill in the air and it feels kinda nice. When we were there it rained a bit, there was some sunshine, it was cool, and it was just warm enough too. We had all the weather in our three or four days there.
Here are a few photos of holiday decorations that I took on that December 2019 trip to Savannah. I would sure love to go back! It's so dang charming!
