Utah opened up vaccinations for people over 50 starting yesterday. I was delighted when I was able to get appointments for both myself and MT today! We both have the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine on board. In 21 days, we will get the second dose. Both of us are really happy about the situation.
I had a couple of side-effects. I had a mild headache for most of the day. In addition, my left arm is tender around the shot site. I don’t have bruising or swelling, and when I rub the area, it feels fine. When I lift my arm, though and engage the muscle where the shot was given, I can feel it. The last side effect is that I have been extremely tired all day. Not sleepy, just very low energy. I was glad to just sit most of the day.
MT has not reported any of those effects. Figures.

Don't sleep on the side of the vaccine for a couple of days. When I had mine, they told me to sign up for check-ups and every day I got a text asking about side effects, after 1 week they just checked it once a week. I hope you feel better. Somebody said if you get side effects that means is working, who knows!
