Tonight I feel relaxed. I worked from home today, so I was able to sleep a bit later than I do when I have to commute to the office. That was a great start to the day because last night, the dogs were being bed hogs. I ended up in the guest room, although it didn't take long for my little pack to find me in there and snuggle up. I got warm and then I couldn't get comfortable, so I ended up reading for about an hour. I did not get enough sleep last night, for sure.
Work was mellow, though. For me it is that really quiet time of the year before it gets busy, so I am relishing these last days of calm. I plunge into my new/old role next week.
Tonight has been peaceful, too. I made dinner, then picked T up from work. MT was home when we got back, so we all ate together, which is always nice. MT and I took the dogs for a walk in the neighborhood. It was a beautiful evening and the girls were well-behaved. Harley walks like she's got somewhere to be, although she is definitely not pulling as hard as she was, unless she sees people or other animals, that is. Mac walks like she's window shopping. She stops and smells everything, then strolls along to the next smell.
I cleaned up the kitchen, took a warm shower, made a cup of tea, and watched a couple of Bruno Mars videos. I love Bruno Mars. It's so good to hear him singing again with Anderson .Paak. I'm excited for Silk Sonic's album release!
Happy St. Patrick's Day! We don't celebrate this holiday. I don't think any of us even wore green. I am reading a book that takes place on an island off the coast of Ireland though.
