Is the weekend over already? Bummer!
We didn't do too much this weekend. T had a basketball game on Saturday. His team lost, but he played pretty well. He took a couple of shots, got a rebound and made a steal. He's getting in there. It was a lot better to watch and there were no words with the coach.
Today was all about me! I treated myself to a manicure. It feels so nice to have someone rub your fingers, hands and arms. That whole clipping of the cuticles - it's really hard to do that yourself. The girl who did my manicure, Sarah, just returned from a vacation to the Dominican Republic! What a coincidence, huh? I haven't heard of many people I know going to the DR, and now I know a few: my friends K & R are going there on Friday, we'll be going next month, and another friend from work is planning on going in June.
After the manicure I did a little shopping, getting some things for the trip including a pair of "dressy" flip-flops. Is there such a thing? These are silver with a flashy silver toe-separator part. Trust me, they are cute and I'll wear them to formal night! LOL I really will!
I also went to see the movie Juno. It was cute and I enjoyed it. The girl who was Juno was great. So dry and funny and sweet. The total opposite of Lindsey Lohan in Georgia Rule. I didn't finish the dvd of that film but I probably will tomorrow. That story takes place in Idaho.
Tomorrow is Martin Luther King Day which is a holiday except in the world of construction, I guess because MT and I both have to work. So I think I'll spend a few minutes looking online for a cute dress to wear with my cute flip-flops then go to bed!
