I have been looking forward to July because we've got some fun things happening:
- going to visit the parents with a side trip to San Diego to visit my sister and watch some baseball
- live music...The Police on the 19th and John Mayer on the 21st
- my bestest friend LA will be in town the last week of July
- my mom and dad will be visiting around that time, too
- T will start 5th grade
- there are two holidays that I have off in July - Independence Day and Pioneer Day (it's a Utah thing)
On Friday we went to Pocatello to pick T up from his grandparents. He had a great time with them. They went bowling and also spent a couple of days at their cabin in Soda Springs. T played with his cousins, read a lot, and didn't do any chores. Boy, is that changing. I have given him a task that he must accomplish this week (sorting through his many action figures) plus I came up with a variety of chores. I wrote them on little slips of paper, and each night he choses two slips. Those two slips represent the chores he must do the next day. (I got the idea from my friends Justin and Kate. Great thinking!)

A couple of people who are very dear to me are going through a sad time right now, and I want you both to know that I am thinking of you and I love you very much.
