#158 the morning run

It's November again, National Blog Posting Month (nablopomo), and I've accepted the challenge to post every day. So here we go!

Today I'm at my mom and dad's house in southern California. T and I flew in this morning. Our flight was a little early, so we decided that we'd walk over to the short term parking lot where the parents usually park and save them the walk to the terminal. They weren't there yet, so T and I were watching for their truck. We saw it and waved, but they weren't looking for us, but they also didn't turn to the parking area. They drove to the terminal. We squealed and began running back to the terminal area.

That's right. I ran. I can't tell you the last time I ran. It wasn't fast and I'm sure it wasn't pretty, but we got to the truck before they pulled away. I was breathing a little hard, but I was laughing really hard too.

Other than the improptu morning run, it's been pretty mellow. We all took a nap, except for T who managed to lock himself out of the house and scared me awake by pounding on the front door.

Tonight we will be going to Altadena to watch Berkley Hart perform. I'm excited to see my sister!
