I have been hungry all day. I just felt empty, even after eating. Maybe it had to do with the fact that I went to spinning class last night and when I got home, I couldn't eat. I kind of felt sick, like overheated and just yucky.
The spinning class is in a big room with no windows (I might have written about this before but now I'm going to do it again). The space is pretty cave-like with probably two dozen bikes in it and the bikes sit pretty close together. Even though the class wasn't full, there was a lot of heat and sweat generated in that cave in an hour. There is only one entrance and even though there are fans in the room, there is little air circulation.
This gym I'm a member of, I don't really like it. I think it used to be a grocery store or something and it's just a big warehouse that is full of exercise equipment. It's just big and noisy and kind of stinky and sort of dirty. My membership expires in October I think. I doubt that i will renew.
I used to go to the fitness center by my house. I didn't realize how nice it was until I started at Gold's. I really appreciate how clean the fitness center staff kept the facility. It's pretty expensive compared to Gold's, though. It's a lot closer to my house, though. Things to think about.
Anyway, I was hungry all day and craving food from Taco Time. I didn't go there, though. Maybe that's why I thought I was hungry; my taste buds were unsatisfied. I made salmon and rice for dinner tonight and I feel fine now. Ready for a nice glass of ice water and quiet time.
Speaking of quiet time, put this picture in your mind. I am sitting cross-legged on my couch. The couch is deep and cushiony. I have my Chromebook on my lap. I'm listening to the "Mom-Friendly Pop/Rock" playlist on Songza (currently playing Wherever You Will Go by The Calling). Osi is laying by me, gently snoring. The TV is off. The lamps cast a soft glow in the room. T is upstairs in the shower. MT is on the computer upstairs looking for new properties to buy. Life is good.
I wonder if there are any places in the city, preferably close to where I live, that just do spinning. Nicole was telling me there is a place in Layton or Riverdale or somewhere that is spinning only. Those towns are too far for me to go for an hour workout, but there might be a place like that around here. I think I'll Google it!
