I realized today that it might be time to go back to work. How do I know? I spent some time coloring and doodling then I spent time just laying on my bed playing Angry Birds. I'm pretty sure by the end of next week I will wish that I was off work again, but I think come Monday, I'll be ready to get back to the office.
Tonight T and I went to watch the Jazz play the Atlanta Hawks. It wasn't a great game. The Jazz played terribly in the first quarter, but made it interesting in the second quarter and nearly caught the Hawks by the end of the game, but it was not meant to be. Jazz lose 92 - 98. It was really great to be back at the ESA watching live basketball, though. We got to sit in the suite and it was really nice. What a great treat!
I have something going on every Saturday this month. Tomorrow I'm taking T to the dentist. He has to have some fillings. He's not looking forward to it, let me tell you. On the 10th I'm going to get a much-needed hair cut. Nothing drastic, just a trim. The ends kind of look like straw. On the 17th, I'll be going to the dentist for a cleaning. The 24th, more personal grooming as I go to the Spa Club for eyebrow maintenance and a manicure. And on the 30th, I give to humanity by donating my delicious O+ blood at the Red Cross.
You know, I've given 31 units of blood (that's about three gallons!) since I've been a donator and it's something I really don't mind doing at all. It doesn't hurt, it doesn't take that long, and hopefully it will be used by someone who really needs it. Speaking of people who need blood, my dad had to go in for an infusion this afternoon/tonight. He was three pints low! Poor Dad! And poor Mom and Dad who had to wait in the ER for hours before they finally got in to be helped. That's terrible. Hope your new blood makes you feel better, Dad!
