I saw Captain America: The Winter Soldier in the movie theater and I remember not knowing what was going on or who these people were. Come to find out I will sit through just about anything with Chris Evans in it.
Today has been pretty low-key. I did go out a couple of times today. The first outing was to the grocery store. Many people were wearing masks, including me. Of course, my mask was a quickie makeshift mask from home. I wrapped one of my scarves around my face. It wasn't perfect by any means, but it was something. And it was stylin':
The next time I went out was to get a burger from Atlantis. That was a drive-through experience. No mask required. I washed my hands thoroughly when I got back home from both excursions.
The rest of the day I spent reading and napping. I did some laundry too. It's been pretty mellow.
Osi isn't doing well. Her hips have basically stopped functioning. I have to help her to stand up. She can take a step or two, then she falls down. She pretty much drags herself around if we don't help her. She sleeps for long periods of time. A couple of times last week I thought she might be dead. She was so still and so quiet, I had to put my hand on her to make sure she was still breathing. I think her furry little body is slowly shutting down. Watching her struggle is breaking my heart a little more every day.
Sorry for the bummer at the end of the post, but I wanted and needed to share that bit of info.
